The Ocean View Garden: We had an amazing time at the ocean-view garden, where we enjoyed the weekend BBQ nights. The atmosphere was lively and the food was incredibly delicious, with a fine selection of Sri Lankan and Western dishes. It felt like we were dining in a 5-star restaurant!
Breakfast Service: Lack of staff coordination made it a bit challenging to have our breakfast arranged as we requested.

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it, in summary: Pros: Clean, nicely decorated spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. Air conditioned rooms with mosquito plugs Good b/fast (cooked and buffet). Laundry service Free beach towels Towels and bed lined changed every day we arrived early at 10am and received a welcome drink on arrival and complimentary b/fast as our room wasn't ready. Friendly staff who can't do enough to help. Walking distance to plenty of restauarants and 2 mins to beach. Stunning beaches. Local Bus stop outside the hotel (20 rupees to galle or circa 5 pence) as do the a/c buses which are slightly more. Tuck tucks regularly pass (350 rupees to /Galle £1.75 - don't pay more they will try it on). Cons Can't think of any. Food Banana garden restaurant (just on main road south out of galle), on beachfront, good for quiet meal. Good food - mainly sea food. Sun and sand restaurant (just on main road south out of galle) on beachfront, also nice for quiet meal, though avoid mixed grill as meat is on chewy side. Chilli cafe / bar (at end of divali road) On the beach, quite lively, younger crowd, with some dance music. Happy banana (at end of divali road) On the beach, lively, younger crowd, with dance music and tv showing english football / cricket. Service is slow Good little italian at (at end of divali road) right on beach front, nice ambience and lovely pizzas.

The staff were absolutely outstanding, going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk from the beach and some lovely restaurants. We also enjoyed the complimentary day trip, which included visits to a turtle hatchery, herb and spice garden, stilt fishermen, a lake.
The hotel was located on a busy road and could be quite noisy at night. the gardens at the back of the hotel were a bit overgrown and not very inviting.

This place was wonderful, I would have loved to stay longer, the breakfast was excellent with the option of an omelette, and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed.

The graciousness of our host and the cullinary skills of the chef. The owner went out of his way to ensure we had a relaxing, comfortable stay. This included organising a driver to commute us to Kandy and giving us a prepackaged breakfast. He escorted us away at early morning 94 a.m.) The breakfasts were a gastronomical delight. fresh fruit displayed in an artistic manner. Morning and afternoon teas in the upstairs balcony were simply amazing. He gave us very accurate advise on the local resaurant scene,Choice.

The rooms were well-appointed with drinks and a bouquet, and I had a lovely stay overall. Location: the hotel was close enough to restaurants further into town, the beach in Unawatuna and Galle in the owner's old car.

Amazing attention to detail and personalized service. I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel cooked a delicious breakfast just for me, even though I missed the usual serving time. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable during my stay. Freshly squeezed juice and beach essentials were always available. The owner even offered a complimentary tour around the area in his classic car. The hotel's character and charm were truly enchanting. Highly recommended.

We rested at this hotel from 26/10/12 to 07/11/12. Lovely hotel! Best Unawatuna one. Attentive service, clean, comfortable rooms. Well-kept beach, very nice. Sun beds and umbrellas are free of charge. Breakfast at the hotel - great! Often at dinner, at our request, we prepared Vasana (hotel manager). All recommended! Perfectly prepared seafood, rice, pasta .... and always something for dessert. Beautiful woman. Prices for dinner at the hotel in less than a cafe on the beach. All this is thanks to the efforts of the host hotel Sumith. Open, honestly, nice person. Can arrange a tour by helicopter. This is an unforgettable experience in a very not much money. Always ready to help. The situation at home. Definitely come again. In December 2013!

The place is amazing, Hotel is new and the manager is always available for any issue. We were in the hotel because was raining outside and the manger was very kind, offering tea and being sure we were having a good time anyway. This is what make Redee villa different from the rest... management is very comprimised and wants to be sure you are having a nice experience there. Service personal is at the level of the manager, they always available for you, smiling and very very kind. Breakfast was fantastic and the room clean and nice. Beach is just across the street.

The hotel staff were really nice and friendly, always smiling and making us feel welcome. They even offered a complimentary ride to a nearby attraction, which was a nice touch. The hotel was also in a great location, just a short walk from the beach and close to other tourist spots. We loved being able to explore the area easily.
One thing we didn't like was the noise from the road outside. It was quite busy and noisy, especially in the mornings, which made it hard to sleep in.

Oh, what a delight to dine in the bright international restaurant! And don't miss the private dining option, perfect for pretending I'm a VIP. The vintage car tours were a fancy touch too.
How lovely it was to be constantly disturbed by the noise from the busy road right next to the property. Such a serene experience, just as advertised.
